In our Crystal Lamp Making Workshop, you'll design your own glowing lamp from a hand-picked range of beautiful crystals, with our friendly hosts guiding you from first idea to finished piece. It's a calm, creative couple of hours in Stapylton, right between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and it suits everyone from first-time crafters to people who just want a really good excuse to sit down and make something. Make Your Own Crystal Lamp: No Experience Needed
Think of it as part art project, part interior design, and entirely your call. You'll choose your crystals, play with colour and placement, and shape a lamp that reflects your personal style, whether that's soft and dreamy, bold and dramatic, or somewhere in between. There's no right or wrong way to do it, and our hosts are on hand to help you make each decision with confidence. By the end, you'll have designed a handcrafted piece that looks like it came from a boutique home store, except you made it yourself.
Craft and Sip: Crystal Lamp
Half the fun is choosing your crystals, and we've got a gorgeous selection to pick from, including Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, Amethyst and Citrine. Each one comes with its own story: Clear Quartz is traditionally linked with clarity, Rose Quartz with love and compassion, Amethyst with calm and intuition, and Citrine with joy and positivity. Our hosts will share what each crystal is traditionally known for, so you can pick by look, by meaning, or by whatever simply feels right. Please note that additional charges may apply for certain crystal selections.

Private crystal lamp for groups of 8+
Want the studio all to yourselves? Gather a group of 8 or more adults and we'll organise a private crystal lamp session tailored to your schedule, with flexible start times between 9:00am and 6:30pm. It's a hit for hens parties, birthdays, team building days and catch-ups with your favourite people. Private sessions are booked directly with our team so we can shape the day around your group, so get in touch and we'll take care of the rest!

We believe making things should feel like a treat, not a test. Every workshop at DIY Invasion is beginner-friendly, fully guided and set up so you can relax and enjoy the process. Our hosts are warm, encouraging and genuinely excited to see what you create, and there's no pressure to get it "perfect." You'll leave with a handcrafted piece you designed yourself, plus a good story about how you made it.
